Nov. 25

Sometimes we think we need to do something extravagant or lavish to have a great day.  Not for me.  I'll mark it down in the history books as a great day.  Time with the kids, time with Kevin, productivity, and OSU beat Michigan :)

CBA put up its first Christmas tree

This cheerleader earned us a victory over *ichigan.

Time with Daddy.

A two minute walk from our cottage

Lots of checkers...

Gorgeous sunsets

Kevin nearly had a heart attack that I told the kids they could swim and play in the sand in their clothes.

Beach baby!

Glacial grooves.

The walk from our cottage to the lake.

Our weekend cottage

The ferry boat ride...

A little ice cream.

Putting that Yukon to good use.

Benny's Lightbulbs

Benny is fixated on lightbulbs, circuits, and electricity.  Yesterday was his shining star day at preschool.  What did he take?  A box of lightbulbs and this nifty circuit we made with 2 'D' batteries and some Valentine lights.

Christmas 2016

This Christmas was a lot of fun.  Benny and Claire both were old enough to be excited.  Here are some of the highlights...
New house with a fireplace.  Love!

Santa cookies, a carrot, and magic reindeer food.

Christmas morning.

Claire LOVES Coke.  She opened this and yelled "Santa brought me beer!"  Oh dear...

Happy Coke drinker.

Santa pulled through with this year's best gift---the race car station.

Benny's requested finch feeder.

Christmas afternoon at Grampie and Grammie's house.

We got to be the holy family at church on Christmas Eve.

New jammies from Lindy and Stevie.  Can't resist the cuteness of the footie jammies.
